RAYDOOR patterns can visually enhance as well as structurally add to your design. They’re bonded to the door panel and typically made of the same material and finish as the door frame. The typical size used to make all patterns is 1-1/4″ wide making it easy to grab with fingers and use to open or close a panel. See the options below!
Below are just some examples of what can be done with custom patterns. Note that there are more limitations when using a laminate frame rather than veneer.

kaleidoscopic Patterns
Patterns that Raydoor has created with unique effects as they overlay one another (when using clear or translucent glazing). Ideally suited to systems with multiple doors (panels) to achieve their greatest visual effect.

Sierra White
A bright white with a subtle texture. This polyester-based laminate delivers a neutral, clean look and is one of our most popular options.
Greater privacy with some light transmittance. A whitish hue that combines well with other finishes and colors. Very cost-effective, and 100% recycled content is available for certain sizes.

No Lattice
No muntin pattern is required, and by default there is none — our most minimal look. Provides maximum translucency if that is your goal.
Natural Teak
Clear satin lacquer over a medium-toned veneer. Tight-grained with golden and reddish hues.

Low Profile RD

Linen
Light Oak
A light oak with variation in color and realistic wood grain-like texture, this vinyl-based laminate simulates a satin finished wood and holds up to wear and tear.
Jamb Lock
Designed for use with sliding doors or pocket doors when locking to a jamb isn’t an option. Includes an emergency release feature. Brushed metal finish.
Ivory Taipei
Greater privacy with some translucency. Contains woven fabric as the central layer.
A single horizontal muntin — specify your preferred placement within the glazing. With multiple panels as in a sliding wall, you can vary placement from one panel to the next to add visual interest.
Groove
Simple vertical grooves add privacy while diffusing light with a modern or retro appeal.

Flo
One of our first patterns used on an operable sliding wall. When used on multiple panels, the center “box” within the pattern is usually staggered vertically. This makes it equally dramatic when doors are stacked, as the staggered pattern transmits through translucent panels. For maximum kaleidoscopic effect, use with clear or highly translucent acrylic glazing. Veneer only, pattern ideal for solutions with at least two panels.

Dust-Proof Strike
This piece of hardware accompanies our flush bolts and floor strike locks to allow a clean method to anchor to the floor. This bolt receiver has a spring-loaded cap to keep the receiver covered when not in use and reduce the possibility of dirt collecting.
Custom Angles
Non-intersecting angled muntins — use our suggested version, or come up with your own custom pattern. Great on folding doors or any multiple-panel door system.
Coffee Wood
A dark-brown stain over walnut veneer and finished in clear satin lacquer. Rich and warm looking and one of our more popular veneer finishes.
A perfect medium that allows for a large amount of light to transmit through but still maintains some visual privacy. Objects on the other side will be partially obscured.

A rich black with variation in color and realistic wood grain-like texture, this vinyl-based laminate simulates a stained wood veneer and holds up to wear and tear.
A pattern that’s full effect is best realized on multiple panels. Combination of half-width and full-width horizontal muntins that vary from one panel to the next, which creates a kaleidoscopic pattern when an operable wall is stacked. Veneer only, pattern ideal for solutions with at least three panels.

4+ Intersections
Multiple intersections of vertical and horizontal muntins. Use this suggested pattern as often seen on French doors or come up with a unique one. Limited to veneer frames only.

4 Horizontals
Four horizontal muntins that are usually evenly spaced for a divided light look in your sliding door or operable wall. Works well with any number of door panels.
3 to 5 Verticals
A vertically divided light look with muntins spaced as you like. When used on laminate doors, the maximum height is 8′ 5″ tall.
3 Horizontals
Three horizontal muntins, typically evenly spaced. A popular option for single doors or operable partitions.
2 Verticals
Two vertical muntin bars that reach from the bottom rail of the door to the top rail. Spaced evenly or as you like. When used on laminate doors, the maximum height is 8′ 5″ tall.
2 Intersections
One or two intersections where one muntin terminates into another. Limited to veneer frames only.
2 Horizontals
Two horizontal muntins spaced as you prefer or default to evenly spaced. Gives a multiple-divided light look.
